My sister and BIL invited us Saturday to the tree lighting ceremony in the town my parents and BIL's parents live in. It was definitely only in the lower 30's that night. Every family was asked to bring an ornament to decorate the tree with. So all the kids placed their ornament on the tree. Santa showed up on the firetruck shortly after and all the kids ran over and he gave each of them a chocolate santa from his napsack and then the tree was officially lit and we all headed inside to the town hall across the street.
The kids had to patiently wait in line for their picture with Santa. Molly thankfully didn't scream bloody murder when she went to sit on Santa's lap. She took a cute picture with him, told him she wanted lego's for Christmas and hopped down. Then she was told to pick either a cute stuffed reindeer or a little alphabet book and she started to cry and said "where are my lego's". Brian and I told her you have to wait for Santa to bring them Christmas night! ... lol!
