First Day of Second Grade!

It has been a while since I have posted, which I feel badly about as this is an online journal for our family! I vow to get to back to fill in the blanks so to speak between then and now!

Molly had her first day of Second Grade yesterday! It went great!!! She was nervous and I think hoping some new kids would be in her class and they were. She has a friend in class that had just transferred from the Private School and she and Molly went to Preschool together.

She has Mrs. Smith for a teacher and loves her already. Molly was picked to do two jobs in the class yesterday - lead the line for the bathroom and also to bring the lunch menu down to the cafeteria! Her friend Caitlyn is riding the bus with her this year which Molly is thrilled about.

Tomorrow Annie and I are off to her Preschool Orientation and she starts next Tuesday for two days a week. It's nice but a little bittersweet to have two and a half hours to myself two days a week! I will miss my little munchkin! The summer flew by way too fast and I so enjoyed my time with the girls! Counting down the days to next summer already!! :0)
